Sekinchan Paddy Field Again, Again & Again... (Part 2)

Here's part 2... In part 1, the pics are towards high contrast and saturated... Following pics, I would like to present it in LOMO feel... Yay..! Kampung style..! Enjoy...


The grain is about to turn yellow. Another 1 month, the paddy will be riped... If there's a chance, hope I could be there to view it...



The weather machine... Thanks to Wonderboy who introduced this GND filter... Really effective to bring out the details of the sky which usually over-exposed.



Nice weather during our photoshoot outing... But still the same amount of UV ray... (-_-")



Our very 1st stop... The wrecken bridge... Never miss this place each time I visited there...



Early in the morning, the farmers get ready to start their work. Their usual transport is motorbike.



Another farmer with his reaper...



Then the next stop was near to a factory. I think this is the only empty brown ground you can find there... Therefore, the ground looks very outstanding as we had too much of greens...



I wonder how they can manage such a huge field.

Very relaxing and pleasant scenary... Don't know why I feel emo when looking at this... =(



In the middle of the field, there's an odd tree... seems like get stucked by lightning... The shadow fell on the ground looks creapy...

Sekinchan Paddy Field Again, Again & Again... (Part 1)

Hei ya... Seems like it's been a long long time you don't see green in my blog... LOL... So last week, I went to "cuci mata" with Wonderboy, Enigmaz, Sam and a group of Cari forumers... I mean "cuci mata" in a good way la dei, not the yellow wan..

So it was the 27th of April... Started our journey from Klang by 0600 and arrived to Sekinchan paddy field again by 0700... So many times at there for shooting but it's still fun coz there're millions of angles you can choose from... You can refer to my paddy field series.


Early in the morning for sunrise... it was misty, not haze ya.. ;)



Great reflection at the river...

All the paddy still young and need breast feeding...

Not only paddy, got water lily and dunno what eggs are that...



Never miss any part of the scenary...



Just like at the seaside but green in colour...



Hardly find the grain yet...



Not until at a part of the field... Grainy..!

Kuala Selangor, where my grandma lives...

Seems like we're going to Kuala Selangor again for a photoshooting organize by Enigmaz... probably after Chinese New Year... yet to be confirmed. However, I'm going there to collect angpow from grandma during this coming CNY. I used to hate Kuala Selangor because there's nothing special... no entertaiment... just a country lifestyle. Not after I got a camera. I've noticed there're alot of nice scenaries. Hope it's not too late for me to realise and appreciate it. Guess what... You can find a combination of fishery and paddy field in Kuala Selangor. Not easy to find a place which has both features. Isn't it great? So I dig old photos again... Some pics taken on last year during the month of June...

Kuala Selangor Walk-walk...

17th June... It's Kuala Selangor again. Yup, previously I took some pics from the Sekinchan paddy field sololy. But this time with Wonderboy & EnigmaZ. Therefore, our photoshooting was twice the fun. We departed from Klang at 6:00 am and arrived at 7:15 am. We wanted to capture the sunrise, unfortunately the weather was bad with thick clouds. However, the pics captured in the morning were satisfying...
















At the paddy field, we came across a wrecked bridge which is going to collapse anytime.








After few hours spent at the field, we made our journey to the fishing village. On our way, we noticed by the roadside there were alot of lotus grow in the drain. Surprisingly, this is largest lotus I've ever seen. The flower is bigger than my palm..!


Then we headed to the fishing village which is along the Kuala Selangor riverside. A simple and peaceful lifestyle...








Before we return to Klang, we stopped by the Melawati Hill which is famous for monkeys. Here're some monkey shots...
