Borneo Trip: Day 4
Day 4..! Triple 7 day... Today our visiting places're around Tuaran, Tamparuli and Kota Kinabalu areas due to Kevin has some task to settle. In the morning, Keving dropped us at the Ling San temple in Tuaran while he went for his best friend's engagement ceromony.
We waited kinda long & get bored until don't know what to shoot already.

After a long period of waiting at the temple, finally Kevin arrived. Then we did some hangging bridge hunting. 1st bridge's nearby a wet market in Tuaran. The bridge seems like wrecked but the residents use it to get to the market.
You're standing on wire only...!
We also passed by a haunted house. According to Kev, the owner found himself sleeping outside of the house the next morning. xD
Next we proceeded to the Damats Hanging bridge. The condition's much better than the earlier.
Lastly is the most famous landmark in Tamparuli is a long hanging bridge, which is immortalised in the song Jambatan Tamparuli, possibly the most well-recognised Kadazandusun song ever.
It was built during the WW2...
After we had enough of bridges, we move on to Kota Kinabalu City to do some shopping. We stopped by at the Filipino market. Lots of girls' stuff there.
If you visit Borneo, don't forget to bring back some Biskut Cincin (design like flower)...
Next is the Sutra Harbour. They're having Sunset Charity 7KM Run at that time... while I'm enjoying my choco waffle... Muahaha..!
This is where the boats're parked...
Today our visits ended early to celebrate Kev's niece full month. Kev's relatives gathered and it was very grand. Mainly of them are Kadazandusun and there're Bajau too... Really having fun that night chatting with them and learning lots of new Sabah words.
The kids...
Kaki minum...
Happy full month to Prisca Eveleen...
A happy Sabahan family + 3 budak Klang...
