Gunung Ledang The Legend...

28th April, an excited day when our journey to Gunung Ledang started at 5 a.m.... and took us bout 3hrs to reach our destination.

Gunung Ledang view from Tangkak.

This trip was nearly cancelled due to a large amount of our members who retreated from the plan. 20 becomes 8 (wtf..???), and that's not the stupid reason we should cancel this plan...
We reached there at 8 a.m. That's when the fun started... We found our camp site at just right below 900ft. What a strategic spot, just beside the waterfall neh... Anytime and anyhow we can jump into the tiny lake. Sounds tiny but extremely deep.

Start walking...

Reached our destination

Good fengshui... Got wind, got water...

After set up the camps, the water activities straight began without hesitation. At the same time, we have our dedicated chef; Ein who served our meal. Sardine, maggie, ketchup bean, sausages and chicken wings were our exotic food.

Fire up..!

Our hired cook, Chef Ein from ChangLoon.

Yummy... when hungry.

Our activity at the lake was "Jumping"... All sorts of pattern and stylo-mylo jump were performed... Din with his Turtle Somersault, Frankie with his Nangka Busuk Fall, Arthur with his Sabahan Cork Screw and etc... Then Arthur (a sabahan with 6th sense towards the mother nature) found a nice jumping spot on a stone, bout 10ft high from the water surface... took me bout 30 minutes to jump from there coz i'm afraid of height, what a silly... LOL..! "Jump! Jump! Jump!"

Family portrait

At night we BBQ and set up camp fire... I slept at 9 p.m. when there was nothing much to do and see in the dark... Merely the sound of the insects and the waterfall crushing to the rocks.. At 12 a.m. I was waken up by the rain drops which penatrate our camp via the ventilation. The rain drops fell directly onto Colin's face (coz he's sleeping in the middle of the camp) ... but the pig doesn't realise at all...! Perhaps everyone was over exhausted that night.

What a day... Phew..!

Light up da dark...

Our dinner: 101% cooked sausages + steamed sweet tuberous + chicken wings

The next day, 29th, we did some water activites before we left the wonderful place. What a nice trip...!

Putera Gunung Ledang who slept until noon...

Leaving... Sad...
