Borneo Trip: Day 1

It's 11am on 4th of July... Our plane touched down at KK airport. Before even getting out of the plane, I can feel the power of Borneo.... Muahaha..!

After few minutes of waiting for our Mr. Tour Guide, Kevin Lo from Tuaran, he arrived with a Kembara. Haha..! Thank God he managed to get a Kembara. Off and on road without any problem. Once arrived, we had our lunch at the stalls in Tanjung Aru. Then we made a stop at the North Borneo Railway, the one and only railway in Sabah. That 1 also use steam (-.o")

Next we headed to the Tun Mustapha Tower (formerly known as the Yayasan Sabah). Tallest structure in KK if I'm not mistaken.

The cylindrical building is so plain. Let Banana decorates abit...

Much better right..? Kakaka.... Thanks to our sharpshooter, Wonderboy.

Our next stop was the Karambunai Lagoon which's owned by Nexus.

A nice place to relax and not many ppl. Maybe because of the 10bucks gua.

Not only water sports... Can play chess too...

After that, we went to the Nexus resort, which is not far from the lagoon. Here's the very 1st time I see blue blue sea... Really BLUE neh...!

Lots of ppl here especially Ang Mos, Japs, Koreans & Taiwanese.

... and it's a nice place to jump!

Tigers pee to mark their territory, Banana...

Finally our last stop was the Rasa Ria Resort to watch sunset. The sun was...... ROUND ba..! Of coz la round... You think square ba..? (must use -ba instead of -la for Sabah accent).

The sunset.. speechless... That's all for the first day. It was a good start. More to come...

Haha... luckily no rain... or else I chop off your head, teru teru bouzu.

to be continued...
