Borneo Trip: Day 3

Huhu.... Day 3 already. Yesterday we saw blues... today we see greens... After seeing so many bikini girls, it's time to see some vegetables and flora & fauna in order to compansate back our eyesight... It's 6th of July and I woke up the earliest among the all 5 days because I want to see sunrise. This is the Mt.Kinabalu during sunrise taken at 6:22am... Huh..? 6 something already so bright a..? In peninsular everybody still sleeping like pig neh... and of coz it gets dark early too... by 6:30pm it's already dark.

Mt.Kinabalu view from Mr. Liew's house at Kampung Telibong, Tamparuli.

Today we're heading to Poring Hot Spring... The journey we took was exteremly winding. Of coz leave the job to the expert la... xD

We stopped by at the National Park. Here's the entrance to access to the Summit Trail to the peak of mt. Kinabalu. We went for jungle trekking. We spotted the pitcher plants.... but no Rafflesia.. sigh...

The view of mt. Kinabalu... I wanna climb ba..!

Until the the fungus also Wonderboy don't want to let go.

Then a few minutes drive, we reached to Kundasang. there's Tamu (we called pasar). Mainly're vegetables and they're selling very cheap. They don't weigh the vege for the price like we do.

Nah Karen..! These nostalgic pics're dedicated to you... If not later you say I everytime take lenglui pics only...

Wah haha.. I feel I'm like a National Geographic journalist neh..!

Kevin sponsored some Salak. 1st time I see this fruit.

Just beside the Tamu, there's a memorial park. Entrance fee's RM2.00 and it's worth going.

The park's well maintained and lots of flowers and historical monument.

A view of Kundasang from the memorial.

Then we continued our journey to the Poring Hot Spring. Once we reached, we had our lunch near the hot spring area. After that, Wonderboy, Enigmaz & I decided to go to the canopy walk while Kev & Malcom enjoy the hot spring.

If Wonderboy takes photo of every single tree in the jungle like this, for sure he'll break his neck...

The ticket for the canopy walk & butterfly park is RM4.00. Do not go the butterfly park. I only encountered 3 different species of butterflies and they claimed that's a butterfly park. -_-"
..but the canopy walk is worthy going. Another nonsense is they charged RM5.00 per camera and RM30.00 for video cam if u bring to the canopy walk. WTF..!

Next we head to the waterfall...

The Kipungit Waterfall...

After a few hours of walking and trekking, we returned to the hot spring for a hot bath.

Huhu... lots of sumandak (we called amoi/ pompuan/ chick) there... They just came out from the hot spring. See their skin... fair & lovely... Sumandak oh sumandak...

Never apply your sun protection lotion properly... here's the result... EnigmaZ's hands're too short... can't reach his back... Nicely 1 square box there and some finger prints... kakaka....

After a nice bath, we headed back to Tamparuli to have our dinner.

It's a relaxing day... 2 more days to go...
